The new Concord Meadow Homes Spray Park opened June 15, 2012, at 1351 Detroit Ave. Children from the surrounding Concord community lined up in eager anticipation before the ribbon cutting ceremony and ran inside as soon as the water was turned on. City of Concord Mayor Ron Leone presided over the ceremony, commending the project for bringing the community together.
