Harris Moves "Downtown"
New Corporate Headquarters and Northern Region Office

Harris & Associates officially begins plans to move the corporate headquarters and northern regional office to a larger and more centralized location in downtown Concord, California.

Harris has been working with the Sierra Pacific Properties, Inc., the City of Concord and staff at the Metroplex building in Concord to make this happen. Move-in date is estimated to be mid-September of this year.

Program since 2007, Harris has been able to continue their on-going efforts to promote a work environment of physical activity and healthy living. 

Harris kicked-off the Start! Program in July of 2007 by challenging their employees to walk across America. In just under three months, Harris employees accomplished the challenge by charting 9,816.96 miles! In April of 2008 a higher goal was set: walk to Iraq and back. This new goal was accomplished in five months with the employees charting a total of 14,872 miles. 

Harris also participates in the American Heart Association’s signature fund-raising event, the Start! Heart Walk. The Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun family environment.
